Gray Design Group’s Melbourne exemplary graphic design skills were utilised when it was recently involved in the development of a logo design for the Australian Racing Conference to be held in Brisbane in May this year.
After working closely with the client and their design brief, a logo design was chosen which stylishly reflected the fundamental focus of this event.
As organisation of the conference progressed, UBET was secured as an official partner. This changed the original parameters of the design brief and provided a new set of guidelines for the new branding to work within, subsequently requiring a reworking of the original conference logo.
A new colour palatte of charcoal, neon green, bottle green and white needed to be used to accommodate the corporate colours of UBET. As well as this, there were stringent guidelines regarding the positioning of the UBET branding with the existing logo design to be adhered to. All information for this was provided within UBET’s comprehensive branding guidelines.
After thoughtful consideration, a number of logo design adaptations were developed with the successful options shown below.
